About me
My name is Máté, producer, mixing and mastering engineer, and the founder of this studio.
I am also a member of the band Sons Left Behind, where I have been responsible for the sound of all our releases — from recording and production to mixing and mastering.
Working on my own band’s music allowed me to develop a clear sonic identity across multiple releases, including Burning From Within, Here We Are, Paint It Black, Chains and Fényvesztő. These tracks are not experiments, but publicly released productions that represent a consistent approach to modern rock, blues and pop sound.
The goal of my work is simple: to help artists turn strong songs into recordings that feel confident, powerful and ready to be released into the world. Whether it’s a single track or a full project, the focus is always on the music, the emotion behind it, and the sound that carries it.

Recording
Professional recording for vocals, guitars, bass, keys and programmed instruments in a controlled studio environment.
The focus is not just on clean signals, but on getting takes that feel right. Timing, consistent dynamics and expressive performances make a huge difference in the mix, so the recording process is guided with the final sound in mind from the very first take.
Everything is captured, edited and prepared in-house to ensure maximum quality for mixing later on.

Mixing
Mixing focuses on balance, depth and impact: every instrument has its place, the low end is tight and controlled, and the mid-range carries the energy and character of the song.
Attention is given not only to technical balance, but also to how the song feels. The mix is built to translate not only technically, but emotionally, so the listener feels the song the way it was meant to be felt.
Dynamics, tone and space are shaped to support the arrangement and performance, so the mix serves the music rather than fighting it.
A good mix should make the song feel bigger, clearer and more confident — without losing its identity.
Mastering
Mastering is the final step that turns a finished mix into a release-ready track.
It focuses on consistency, loudness and translation: making sure the song sounds just right on streaming platforms, on radio and on all types of speakers. The process enhances clarity and punch, controls the low end, and ensures the track reaches a competitive level without destroying dynamics or musicality.
The result is a master that feels solid, open and powerful, while remaining faithful to the original mix.
